This is a student-managed blog highlighting Hot Mommas Project role models. What is the Hot Mommas Project? We produce award-winning, women’s leadership curriculum. Why? Because role models are strongly tied to women’s success in business (and life). We gather and distribute the stories of role models – just like you or the women in your life – globally. Here is our schtick:
If you’re a woman who wants to help other women, you’re in the right place. Welcome to The Hot Mommas® Project. Established in 2002 by entrepreneur and educator Kathy Korman Frey, the goal of the Hot Mommas® Project is to raise the self-efficacy of women and girls through exposure to role models. How do we do this? Through teachable stories…otherwise known as “case studies.” Our award-winning case studies serve as role models for women and girls around the globe by showcasing not only the professional, but also the personal. Now – with the help of people just like you – we are bringing those role models to the forefront in record numbers. Be a role model. Tell your story. Go to http://www.hotmommasproject.org to get started.
P.s. We are a mission-driven, for-profit venture housed at the George Washington University School of Business, Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence. We’ve been featured on NPR, in The Washington Post Magazine, and in the blogosphere around the globe (buzz link). Our winning case studies each year are published in leading Prentice Hall textbooks. Email us to nominate a role model, yourself included, here. Also feel free to name nominations on Twitter or by commenting on this blog post.
